(Moline, IL) — Illinois Comptroller Leslie Munger is urging state lawmakers to solve the state budget crisis. Munger said time is running out during an appearance yesterday at Moline City Hall. She said the total amount of unpaid bills by the state could be over eight-billion-dollars by year’s end. Illinois has been operating without a budget since the beginning of July.
