(Undated) — The amount of people out of work in Illinois continues to drop, but with a catch. The Illinois Department of Employment Security says the unemployment rate last month dropped to five-point-six-percent, but the number of jobs in the state went down for a third month in a row. Officials say the declining unemployment rate reflects the national trend of people leaving the workforce, not necessarily the number of unemployed finding jobs.
