The St. Elmo-Brownstown volleyball team moved to 3-0 in the Egyptian Illini Conference after a 25-16, 25-3 win over Ramsey Monday night. After getting a first set win, the Lady Eagles found themselves tied 3-3 with the Rams before reeling off 22 straight points to win the set and the match. The win was the third in a row for SEB and puts their record above .500 for the season which Coach Elise Asher said is needed as they move into the rest of the week against some tough competition.
SEB was led in the match by Gabi Moore with 8 kills and 8 aces, Emily Bone with 7 kills and Sarah Maxey with 16 assists. The Lady Eagles are now 6-5 on the season and will hit the road Thursday for an NTC matchup with the newly co-oped team of Windsor/Stew-Stras before heading to New Berlin for the 2015 Pretzel Classic on Friday and Saturday.
