(Springfield, IL) — The amount of ailments that will be allowed to be treated by medical marijuana in Illinois won’t be expanding. The state Department Of Public Health announced yesterday that new medical conditions and diseases won’t be added to the Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act at this time. Governor Rauner vetoed a measure yesterday that would have expanded the program, including the treatment of patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
