(Westville, IL) — Authorities are trying to determine what caused a woman driving a van to hit a number of people set to watch a Labor Day parade in Vermilion County. “The Champaign News-Gazette” reports the accident happened just after the parade began yesterday in Westville when the van ran through a main intersection and plowed through a group of people. Seven people were left hospitalized but are expected to survive. Police say the parade hadn’t reached the intersection when the incident happened.
