(Springfield, IL) — A vote could come this week in the Illinois House on whether or not to override Governor Rauner’s veto of a union arbitration bill. The bill would allow contract talks between the state and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees to be decided by an arbitrator. The Illinois Senate already voted to override the veto last month.
