(Springfield, IL) — Fewer people are going to the Illinois State Fair. Fair organizers announced yesterday that only 412-thousand people attended the eleven-day event, which is less than half of fairgoers compared to 2013. It also brought in 55-thousand-dollars less than last year. There’s no word as to what caused the low turnout.
