St. Peter Prairie Days will kick off their 40th edition with activities going on tonight and throughout the day and night on Saturday. The fish dinner and ribeye and chicken sandwiches will get started at 5 pm this evening, along with the sand volleyball tournament getting underway and the band “Blind Man Drivin’” will be performing at 8 pm tonight. There will be activities throughout the day on Saturday, starting with the Prairie Days 5K with registration starting at 7 am at the park, lunch will be at 11 am, with the tractor pull starting at 11:30, the parade and 1 pm and many other activities throughout the day on Saturday. Supper will be Saturday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm, leading up to the band “The Feudin’ Hillbillys” at 8:30 pm. WKRV will be broadcasting live from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday afternoon.
