Meanwhile, Brenda Duke was sworn in as the new Fayette County Assistant State’s Attorney on Tuesday morning and began sitting in court with current Assistant State’s Attorney Amanda Ade-Harlow as she prepares to take over the position in September. Speaking of the new hire, State’s Attorney Joshua Morrison says he believes Duke and her experience will fit in well with the office.
Duke will officially take over as Assistant State’s Attorney in September.
