After a very strange spring and summer, with heavy rains throughout the seasons and more mild temperatures than usual, the Fayette County Farm Bureau will still hold their crop survey at roughly the same time of the year. The Fayette County Farm Bureau will hold their annual crop survey on August 31st. The day will start with breakfast served to those participating in the survey at 8 am. And, following breakfast, participants will depart to survey the crops in the county. And, then that evening, the Farm Bureau will have their annual steak cookout at 6 pm and results from the survey will be released at that time. Meanwhile, tickets for the cookout are $5 and can be purchased at the Farm Bureau office.
