The Fayette County Emergency Management Agency was a recent victim of theft as equipment was stolen from the EMA shed. Fayette County EMA Coordinator Kendra Craig informed the county board that the theft occurred just over a week ago on Sunday, August 2 and a large amount of equipment was taken.
Craig says they are now working with the insurance company and grants for new equipment.
As Craig said, the information has been posted with Fayette County Crime Stoppers and a reward is being offered. Any one that has information on the break-in, can contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 283-2141 or Crime Stoppers at 283-1986.
