A new state law creates a pilot program to keep students busy on snow days. Under the law, three school districts will be chosen to participate in the program, where students will continue their lessons at home instead of watching TV all day when school is cancelled because of the weather. Kids would have to put in at least five hours of E-Learning during each snow day. The idea was supported by State Representative Kathleen Willis.
The Pilot Program will last three years and results analyzed.
