(Undated) — Governor Rauner is asking the federal government to help out Illinois farmers affected by recent flooding. The Governor sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Agriculture asking that all counties in the state that have experienced crop damage be included in a disaster declaration. The Illinois Emergency Board will meet on Monday to go over which counties are eligible for assistance.
