Piscotty was drafted as a third baseman before moving to the outfield and has now been converted to first base.

(Cincinnati, OH) — Jay Bruce’s two-run homer in the sixth inning gave the Reds a 5-4 win against the Cubs to open a four-game series at Great American Ball Park. Jorge Soler drove in two runs in the loss. Justin Grimm fell to 1-and-3 for Chicago, which had won its previous two. The second of the four-game series is tonight at 6:10 p.m.
