The City of Vandalia is continuing their work to find a new City Administrator—and whoever that is would be the first person to hold the position in better than 5 years. The Vandalia City Council will hold a special work session this afternoon beginning at 4 pm in the Council Chambers. The meeting will be in executive session, with the purpose to review all the applications for the City Administrator position. The City of Vandalia has been actively looking for the next City Administrator for the past few months, first taking the resumes in and then beginning the review process. The City of Vandalia has been without a City Administrator since Jimmy Morani left the position in April of 2010.
