The Illinois Department of Transportation is warning motorist to drive sober this holiday weekend or risk getting pulled over. More cops will be out on Illinois roads this weekend, looking for drunk drivers, speeders and those not buckled up says IDOT spokesperson Brian Williamsen.
Over the last five years in Illinois, 63 people have died in traffic crashes during the Fourth of July holiday, 43 percent of those accident involved at least one driver who had been drinking.
