(Miami, FL) — Lance Lynn fired six scoreless innings as the Cardinals completed a three-game sweep of the Marlins with a 5-1 win in Miami. In his first start since June 7th, Lynn scattered two hits and four walks while striking out six to improve to 5-and-4. Pete Kozma went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in the win.

(Chicago, IL) — Carlos Frias fired five shutout innings to outduel Jon Lester as the Dodgers blanked the Cubs 4-0 at Wrigley Field. Lester allowed four hits, four walks and four runs in four innings to fall to 4-and-6. Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Chicago. The Cubs are in St.Louis tonight.
