It looks like the leftovers of Tropical Storm Bill have finally arrived to the area. After several days of predicting heavy rains—only to see just off and on rains—what the National Weather Service in St. Louis has been predicting for most of the week may finally have arrived. We are looking at showers and possibly a thunderstorm for today with locally heavy rainfall possible during the day today with a high in the mid 70s. Showers and possibly a thunderstorms remain in the forecast for tonight with the chance of some more heavy rainfall as we’ll see a low tonight near 70. Then, if the forecast holds, we have a dry day on Saturday with a high in the middle 80s. At least for now Saturday is the first dry day we’ve hand on our forecast in at least 10 days. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will return for Sunday and into Monday as we’ll reach 90 for a high on Sunday.
