A Be The Match marrow donor registry drive will be held today in St. Peter in honor of 1-year old Madison Lash of St. Elmo who was diagnosed with MSD or Monosomy 7 (mono-sah-me) in April and will need a bone marrow transplant this summer before the disease turns into AML or acute myeloid leukemia. Adults who are between the ages of 18 and 44 and are in good health are asked to participate in the drive which includes simply having your cheek swabbed in four places to make you a part of the registry. The Be The Match Marrow Donor Registry Drive will be held on today from 3-8 p.m. at the St. Peter Fire Department at 301 East Third Street in St. Peter.
