A 49 year old St. Elmo man has been sentenced to time in corrections in Fayette County Court. 49 year old James Rogers of St. Elmo pleaded guilty to Domestic Battery and was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 4 years in prison. That sentence is to be served concurrent with a sentence of 3 years in the Department of Corrections for the charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
A 31 year old Springfield man will do time in the Department of Corrections. 31 year old Milton Holmes Junior of Springfield pleaded guilty in Fayette County Court to Possession of Cannabis, more than 30 grams but less than 500 grams, and was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 16 months in the Department of Corrections.
