Several power poles were blown sideways along Illinois Route 185 and at least one individual had damage with a car port blown off when straight line winds moved thru the St. Peter area on Sunday afternoon. According to Ameren, there are no remaining outages in the St. Peter area–as there were outages in both St. Peter and Farina at one time after the storm moved thru on Sunday. Traffic was also slowed on Route 185 during the time after the storms. No injuries were report from the isolate severe storms that moved thru the area. More of the same could be on the way for tonight.
