(Denver, CO) — Carlos Martinez carried a shutout into the seventh inning as the St.Louis Cardinals held onto beat the Colorado Rockies 4-2 from Coors Field. Martinez improved to 7-and-2 after giving up two runs on eight hits in six-and-a-third innings. Randal Grichuk connected for his third home run of the season as St.Louis avoided the sweep.
