(Quincy, IL) — A Quincy woman is getting nine years in prison after her ninth drunk-driving conviction. The “Herald-Whig” reports Konni McCord could have been sentenced to as much as 30-years, but struck a plea deal for the shorter sentence. She’s been convicted of drunk-driving seven times in Illinois and twice in Texas. Her most recent arrest was in April, when her blood alcohol content registered nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit.
