The IHSA has cancelled play today for all three classes at the IHSA State Golf Tournament in Bloomington. On their Facebook page, the IHSA posted at about 2:40pm Friday afternoon that “Friday’s round of the IHSA Boys Golf Tournament (1A, 2A & 3A) has been cancelled. A new round will be played tomorrow with the same tee times as today, making it a one-day, 18-hole tournament for the championship.”
Vandalia freshman Chase Laack will again tee of at 10:18am on Saturday morning at Prairie Vista Golf Course. Prior to the cancellation, Laack had been through 6 holes in his round on Friday with a score of +7 which had him in a tie for 37th place at that time.
