(Chicago, IL) — A former Illinois state representative says he will not step down from his new position after he was accused of making inappropriate sexual comments to a female state House aide. Sherri Garrett says Ken Dunkin approached her and another staffer in 2013 and said he wanted to take them home to see who is the naughtiest. She claims Speaker Michael Madigan’s chief of staff Tim Mapes brushed aside her complaint. Dunkin was recently appointed last month by Governor Rauner to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District board. Mapes resigned from his government and political positions on Wednesday shortly after Garrett made her accusations.
