Two juveniles were arrested on Monday night in Fayette County on Arson and other charges, for allegedly setting fire to a garage in Brownstown. Fayette County Sheriff Chris Smith says the fire was at a garage at 2nd and Poplar Streets in Brownstown. He says the Brownstown Fire Department was able to respond quickly to get the fire taken care of. The two juveniles—one a 10 year old Juvenile from Brownstown and the other a 15 year old Juvenile from Indianapolis, Indiana–were both arrested on pending charges of Arson, Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Trespass to Real Property and Disorderly Conduct. Sheriff Smith says both were taken to the Madison County Juvenile Detention Facility and have since been released to their parents, while facing the pending charges. Sheriff Smith also thanked the public for the information in the case.
