it looks like the area is skipping over spring weather all together. After remaining below average in temperatures for most of the spring time—and seeing the 2nd coldest April on record for the state—we are now moving right into summer temperatures. We are looking at mostly sunny skies today with a high of 88. It will be windy, with winds gusting out of the south at nearly 30 miles per hour. The warmth will stay with us this weekend with partly sunny skies on Saturday with a high of 88 and then mostly sunny skies on Mother’s Day with a high of 90. Our next chance of rain, as of this time, is just a slight chance on Monday and Monday night.
