As the weather warms and more bikers hit the roads, state officials are urging everyone to “start seeing motorcycles.” A key component of the safety campaign is recognizing that motorcycles and cars must share the road says bike enthusiast Governor Bruce Rauner.
Riders are urged to make sure they wear high visibility clothing, boots, gloves and a helmet, and not drink and ride. The state offers free motorcycle courses for beginners and advanced riders. Visit www.startseeingmotorcycles.org for more information.
