As the weather finally begins to warm up, the Illinois Department of Transportation is urging motorcyclists to be careful and “ride smart.” Riders are anxious to get out on the open road, but are more likely to get into an accident says I-DOT spokesperson Kelsea Gurski.
Gurski says riders should make sure they wear high visibility clothing, a helmet, and eye protection and take advantage of I-DOT’s free motorcycle training programs. More details are online at www.startseeingmotorcycles.org
