A good mix of business people and residents of Vandalia were on hand for the first public meeting concerning the City of Vandalia’s new comprehensive plan. Following a presentation by Adam Stroud and Jenny Ryan of PGAV, those in attendance moved into breakout groups to discuss more in depth what they would like to see as goals and direction for the city moving forward. Vandalia Mayor Rick Gottman said he was pleased with the crowd on hand because input from the public is very important as they put together the new comprehensive plan.
Infrastructure and jobs are two topics Mayor Gottman says he hears about from residents when talking about the comprehensive plan. And we will hear from Gottman about that coming up on Monday during Newscenter.
