Mike Radliff, First National Bank President has announced the appointment of Amber Miller as Branch Manager at the bank’s main office in downtown Vandalia. Miller, who has been with FNB for five years, is currently Assistant Vice President and Mortgage Loan Officer. In this new position, she will have management oversight of the teller and new accounts operations at the main bank as well as the Eighth Street branch. Commenting on her role change, Miller said, “I am ecstatic to begin this new journey and transfer my skills to the operation side of FNB.”
“We are very excited that Amber is continuing her career in a new role at The First National Bank,” Radliff said. “Amber will bring her customer first personality and strong management skills to our teller and customer service areas.”
Her first official day under the new title is Monday, February 26.
Miller’s career path in college began in a different route. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Associate’s degree in Biology from John A. Logan College, and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from McKendree University. Her banking career began at another area bank as a teller, eventually working her way up to Loan Administrator/Operations Branch Manager.
Amber and her husband, John, have three children, Blake, Henry, and Hazel. She is actively involved in the community as vice president of the Vandalia Soroptimist International.
The First National Bank, founded in 1865, has three locations in Vandalia and branches in Ramsey, Patoka, Mulberry Grove and Greenville.
