(St. Louis, MO) — Pekka Rinne stopped 29-of-30 shots to help the Predators earn a 2-1 win over the Blues at the Scottrade Center. The Preds jumped the Blues for first place in the Central Division with 49 points. Vladimir Sobotka was the only player to score for St. Louis, which has dropped six of its last eight games. The Blues will travel to Dallas to face the Stars tomorrow.

Armstrong has served as GM of the Blues since 2010, and has guided the team to six straight playoff appearances. He was vice president of player personnel for the Blues for two years before taking over as GM.
