(Quincy, IL) — A growing number of Illinois lawmakers are demanding more from the Rauner administration about the on-going problems with Legionnaires Disease at the veterans home in Quincy. A number of lawmakers, including the governor’s Republican opponent Jeanne Ives yesterday said that the governor must answer questions after three more cases popped-up at the home this fall. There was a major Legionnaires outbreak in 2015 that killed 12 people. The governor says his administration is working with the CDC to combat the disease.
