The Vandal wrestlers went undefeated in their Saturday quad at home picking up wins over Herrin, Oakwood Salt Fork and LeRoy. The Vandals wrestling team started off their day with a dominant 66-6 win over Herrin. The Vandals picked up wins by pin from Jarek Wehrle at 106, Dakota Gasaway at 113, Bradyn Kaiser at 145, Zane Ulmer at 152, Robby Durbin at 182, David Meyer at 195 and Anthony Enlow at 285.
In their second match, the Vandals were a 52-15 winner over Oakwood Salt Fork getting wins by fall from Gasaway at 113, Kaiser at 152, Tiler Worker at 170, Garret Stewart at 182, Robby Durbin at 195, Gavin Mouser at 220 and Anthony Enlow at 285. The Vandals also got a major decision win from Jarrett Paslay at 138 and wins by decision from Jarek Wehrle at 106 and Dehaven Burgess at 145.
The Vandals wrapped up their day with a 44-28 win over LeRoy. Kaiser at 152 and Stewart at 182 both won by pin while Wehrle at 106, Tanner Swain at 126, Paslay at 138, Burgess at 145 all picked up wins by decision.
The Vandals are now 4-1 in dual team action. They will be back in action on Tuesday night when they go on the road for a triangular at Mattoon with Shelbyville.
