A big weather change is on the way for the area, that looks like it’ll officially bring winter to the region. We’ll have one more warm day today with a slight chance of shower this afternoon and a high of 68. It’ll be windy today, with winds gusting out of the south up to 40 miles per hour. But, tonight, the changes will begin. Showers and Thunderstorms will be likely tonight and we’ll see a cold front come into the area and bring us down to a low of 37 for tonight. It’ll remain windy, with the wind gusts shifting to the west and gusting up to 35 miles per hour. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says that strong to locally severe thunderstorms are possible tonight, with the main threat with these storms being locally damaging wind gusts. Then, the colder weather will stay with us with mostly sunny skies on Tuesday and a high of 43.
