This year’s Illinois School Report Card is out, and shows some gains were made this past school year. The annual report card measures things like student achievement and teacher retention rates for individual schools and the state as a whole. Overall, the statewide report card has some good news says Superintendent of Education Tony Smith.
The number of kids taking advanced placement and dual credit courses increased slightly this past school year. The average teacher salary in the state grew by about one thousand dollars to $64,516 in 2017. Visit the website—– www.illinoisreportcard.com
