The Vandalia City Council made another move towards getting a new comprehensive plan for the city completed. After hearing proposals from four different firms or companies last Monday, the council voted unanimously to hire PGAV of St. Louis to complete the plan. And, Mayor Rick Gottman saying they come with a very good reputation and gave an impressive presentation.
Gottman also reminded the council that earlier this year, they received a $15,000 grant from the Greater Gateway Association of Realtors to be used towards the cost of a new comprehensive plan.
