A longtime Fayette County resident and Vandalia businessman is now heading up the area’s Workforce Innovation Board. Local Workforce Innovation Area #23, which serves 14 counties including Fayette, Marion, Effingham and many others off to the east and northeast, has announced Pat Click is the new Board Chair for Program Year 2017. Click is a longtime Fayette County resident, who is a partner with McKellar, Robertson, McCarty and Click Insurance and served in the past on the Vandalia City Council, the Ramsey School Board, and currently is an officer with the Vandalia Chamber of Commerce and the SAFE board. As for LWIA, they offer services and financial assistance to both individuals and businesses to assist in addressing employment and training needs. Their primary goal is to connect individuals with sustainable employment opportunities through their programs and services. Pat Click’s term as Board Chair will run until June 30th of 2018.
