Matt Bowman gave up the go-ahead double to Taylor Davis in the 11th. Paul DeJong was robbed of a game-tying homer by Leonys Martin at the center field wall to end the game.

Jose Quintana will start for Chicago and Robert Stephenson for Cincinnati. First pitch is at 1:20 p.m. The Cubs have already clinched the NL Central Division. They will open the NL Division Series at Washington next Friday.

(St. Louis, MO) — The Cardinals will play a pair of exhibition games north of the border next spring. They’ll battle the Blue Jays on March 26th and 27th at Olympic Stadium in Montreal. The Cards last visited Montreal in 2004, the final season before the Expos relocated to D.C. The Cardinals open the season March 29th against the Mets in New York.
