The issue of Bullying was brought front and center at Tuesday night’s Vandalia School Board meeting. Megan Wilson of Vandalia addressed the Vandalia School Board and a large crowd on the issue of students being bullied.
And, Wilson says this is an issue everyone needs to come together to work to find a solution.
Vandalia Superintendent of Schools Rich Well says bullying is an issue that all schools work to do their best to control and he says communication is a huge key.
Right after Wilson finished her address to the board, Well told the crowd on hand that the school district has a Student Discipline Committee and that Wilson will now be a part of that committee, with her first meeting coming up next week. School Board President Chris Palmer said he appreciated the crowd, but reminded those in attendance to continue to be involved going forward.
