(Shanghai, China) — Illinois‘ trade mission is now in China. Governor Bruce Rauner and the state’s trade delegation landed in China yesterday as part of an eight day trip to Asia. China is one of the state’s largest trading partners, and the governor said he wants to work to expand that partnership. In addition to buying Illinois agriculture products and heavy equipment from companies like Caterpillar and John Deere, Governor Rauner said China is home to 60 Illinois company offices.
