The Vandalia, Ramsey and St. Elmo-Brownstown volleyball teams will all compete in the inaugural “A Grace Filled Tournament” this weekend in Raymond and Hillsboro. The 16-team tournament is hosted by Lincolnwood High School and aside from the competition on the court, it will also serve as way to get awareness out and raise money for a cure for INAD. Play will begin tonight at 4:45 in four different gyms between the two towns. Ramsey will be in the “Hope” Pool and will play at the Lincolnwood High School Multi-Purpose Gym at 4:45pm versus Nokomis, 7:45pm versus Staunton and at 9:45pm against South County. St. Elmo-Brownstown will be in the “Grace” Pool and will play at Hillsboro High School Gym at 5:45pm against Auburn, 6:45pm versus Hillsboro and at 9:45pm against Morrisonville. Vandalia will be in the “Purple” Pool and will play at the Hillsboro Jr. High Gym at 5:45pm against North Mac, 6:45pm versus Litchfield and at 9:45pm against Edinburg. The #1 seed after pool play will move into Saturday’s Gold Flight at Lincolnwood High School. The #2 seeds will move into the Silver Flight at Lincolnwood High School’s Multi-Purpose Gym. The #3 seeds will go into the Bronze Flight and will play at the Hillsboro High School gym on Saturday and the #4 seeds will be in the Copper Flight and play at Hillsboro Jr. High gym on Saturday.
