(Phoenix, AZ) — Javier Baez broke the game open with a three-run homer in the eighth as the Cubs dropped the Diamondbacks 7-2 at Chase Field. Ian Happ followed Baez with a solo homer for the Cubs, who took two of three in the series. Jake Arrieta fired six innings of one-run, three-hit ball to up his record to 12-and-8. The Cubs host the Reds tonight.
