Dorothy A. Fannin, 91, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Mount Vernon, IL.
Graveside Services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson, officiating. Friends & Family may gather at 11:30 AM at the Cemetery. She was born August 29, 1925, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of William Birdle & Cleda (Benefiel) Tedrick. Married Lowell Edward Fannin on December 21, 1952, Vandalia, IL, he passed away June 19, 2003. She was a Program Clerk at the A.S.C.S.-Department of Agriculture, Vandalia, IL; and member of First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose, all of Vandalia, IL.
She is survived by: Son – Ted Rench & Linda Glendening, Noel, MO; Grandchildren – Tedra Moser & Frank Ron, Mt. Vernon, IL, Rob Rench, Pompano Beach, FL, Amber Wetzel, Beaumont, CA, Shannon Rench, Rialto, CA, and Osheanna Rench, Noel, MO; 7 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Son – Bill Rench; Brother – William “Bill” Tedrick; and Grandson – Shawn Rench.
