We have seen multiple rounds of storms and heavy rains move thru the area this morning. The first round made it’s way thru Fayette County just after midnight, with the second round coming thru around 3 am. The first round brought a lot of thunder and lightning while the later rounds have brought a little thunder and lightning, but mostly just rain. We remain under a Flash Flood Watch at this time. The storms are bringing a cold front with them to the area and we’ll see cooler temperatures, with highs just in the lower 80s for today, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
