Shirley J. White, 63, of Vernon, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017, at her home.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Jerry Bagwell, officiating. Burial will follow at Keens Chapel Cemetery, RFD Farina, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Miller Funeral, Vandalia, IL and 9:00 AM *1 hour before service*, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Church. She was born, December 26, 1953, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Elroy F. & Marjorie Irene (Rinkel) Graumenz Warner. Married Edmond J. White Sr. December 26, 1987 in Vandalia, IL. She was owner/operator of Shirley’s Antiques in Vandalia and later in Vernon, IL; a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL; Sunday School & Bible School Teacher; Girl Scout, Brownie Leader and Boy Scout Den Leader. Shirley loved hunting, fishing, trapping, mushroom hunting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by: Husband – Edmond J. White Sr., Vernon, IL; Mother – Marjorie Warner & Louie, Vandalia, IL; Son – Ed White Jr., Vernon, IL; Daughters – Michelle Pruemer & Ron, Vernon, IL and Sandy Kreutzberg & Harry, Marine, IL; Brothers – Dennis Graumenz & Debbie, Vandalia, IL; Devon Graumenz & Patty, Shobonier, IL; Gary Graumenz & Jill and David Graumenz & Amy, Vandalia, IL; Sister – Cheryl Pollard & Randy, Vandalia, IL; 5 Grandchildren – Kelsey, Carin, Erik, Austin & Caroline; 3 Great Grandchildren- Jase, Elijah & Liam.
