(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is once again telling Democrats that he will veto their proposed five billion-dollar tax increase. The governor yesterday took to social media to explain his opposition. Rauner said in a video that he won’t accept a 32-percent income tax increase without any reforms to state government spending. The Illinois Senate is expected to vote on the plan later today.
