Scholes was found guilty of one count of Home Invasion, a Class X felony, and one count of Criminal Trespass to Residence, a Class 4 felony, both stemming from a May 15th incident in Ramsey in which Scholes entered a residence and struck one of the homeowners in the face with a closed fist. The Class X felony carries a possible sentence of 6 to 30 years in prison while the Class 4 felony carries a possible sentence of 1 to 3 years in prison. Scholes was also charged with one count of Aggravated Battery Causing Great Bodily Harm but was found not guilty on that count.
