(Carbondale, IL) — Three-quarters of voters in Illinois want to see marijuana decriminalized. Two-thirds want to see it legalized all together. A new poll, released yesterday, by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute says there’s overwhelming support for legal marijuana in the state. A majority of both Republicans and Democrats support legalization, though there are some differences in opinions between older and younger voters.
