(Chicago, IL) — Illinois Senate President John Cullerton may be reaching the limit of his endurance over the state budget logjam. The Chicago “Sun-Times” reports Cullerton is telling colleagues that he’s so frustrated at the inability to reach a compromise budget deal after nearly two years that he’s considering not running for reelection. Cullerton’s term is up in two years, and though he admits the budget battle is frustrating, he says it’s not the time now to make a decision about his future.
